ANY day now..

We are just waiting for SaDae to come and join us. We almost have everything ready, so I guess she can come now. Degan is getting so big and just SO much help with everything, he acts like he is SO big and I know he will make such a great big brother. Last weekend we went fishing at Kolob and did a mini trip with the 3 of us before Brett started working weekends and before our family became 4. Im so excited to meet this lil girl and see what great things she will bring to our family. I guess the next post will be after the baby since any day she can come and I know she wants out she kicks me and moves so much it hurts haha.

46 days left.. ..

I remember I was so good on posting with Degan, but lil SaDae hasn't gotten all that love. I am actually having mixed emotions about her getting here. We finally got the shelves up the garage and now I am working on cleaning out the bedroom so she can actually have a room of her own. There are only 6 full weekends left before she comes and thats if she waits (Im not sure how much she is loving it in my belly haha)
Degan is getting so grown up already he loves to help anyone that will let him. His favorite thing right now is to help Brett mow the lawn, and he knows how to start it ( thank goodness he is not strong enough to). I have him give SaDae kiss's in the morning and if you ask him where his lil sister is he points to my belly button. I sure hope he is this easy going when she actually comes.
Mothers Day was a good day I didn't change 1 dirty diaper it was such a wonderful day, we spent it in Kanab with Bretts family, got some good time in with Grandma Brink.
I know theres so much more I could tell but I need to clean before Degan wakes up.

my birthday and easter

This year My Birthday and Easter were on the same day I was really quite happy cause that meant it would be EXTRA special.. haha.. Well I turned 25 and this year was kind of a hard one, I really felt old but I know I still have alot of years left so this was nothing. The weekend was jam packed full of family parties and bbqs and so much fun. Saturday was fun we were @ the sand dunes with all the Brinkerhoffs I wish I had pictures (everyone send me some) Degan would not really play with all his cousins he just had to be on the four wheelers the ENTIRE time, even while asleep I hope someone got that picture.



Sunday we had a Easter egg hunt with The Ashcrafts and Degan was pretty good at finding eggs, got to enjoy some fun with friends and then that evening we had a wonderful birthday dinner planned. All the food was prepared said a pray to start eating and then Brett started choking and had a really bad episode. He could not even swallow his own spit so I took him to the ER in st.George, they gave him some medicine to relax his esophagus and to just relax him and that did nothing. So they called in a GI doctor and he came in and they scoped him and removed the food that was blocking his esophagus and then proceed to stretch it out. Since he has hemophilia we had Becky run us some factor from Kanab, just in case there was alot of bleeding. Needless to say I didn't get to enjoy my birthday dinner, cake or presents I was spending nice quality time at the hospital with Brett. The next day we were off to Vegas to pick up Brett's parents from the airport we had a room and tickets to a show, but since Brett couldn't eat we didn't go and just did some sight seeing and shopping , neither one of us enjoyed ourselves too much since we were so tired from the night before but I'm just glad my hubby is alright. We will never forget my 25th birthday!

6 mths prego and Degan 15 mths

I know I say this every post but I have become quite the slacker when it comes to blogging. I am happy to say Im finally 6 mths pregnant and cant wish time to go any faster till this lil girl gets here. I am ready for her but not for Brett to go back to work and have two kids to take care of but I CAN DO IT! This pregnancy so far has not been bad at all, I am so blessed to have it so easy. Degan kind of understands that he is getting a new sister but I dont think he will really get it till she is here. Degan is such a lil crazy kid lately. He still wont really talk and he does NOT listen but he understands everything and if he doesn't know how to work it he will. He is so smart and BUSY. Tonight I got home from work and he was wound up running around spinning and the whole time he would go cross eyed from watching his hand, Brett and I were laughing so hard. He is always making us laugh which is good cause it helps forget how mad I am at him sometimes for not listening or constently getting into things he shouldn't be. I dont have much more to say, but I just wanted to post about things before I forgot.
