Crazy Weekend

Sorry mandy but I forgot to take my camera into the concert so I didn't get any good pictures, I was real sad about that.


But for those of you that don't know, Brett and I went down to Vegas on Friday and went and saw Kenny Chesney and Leann Rimes. It was really fun (even though we went ALONE) Kenny sang for like an hour and half just him, Unlce Cracker came out and it was his birthday so we sang to him, and Kenny tried to rap with him singing I wanna be a cowboy. The only bad thing was we had a lil girl behind us that was screaming bloody murder like thru the whole songs, not even when you do scream, so that really sucked cause I already had a headache from how loud the music was. We then drove back to my parents house arrived at 3 in the morning and then got up at 8, packed up stuff drove back to cedar packed up our camping stuff, then went and got food and then started our journey up to fish lake. It was ALOT of driving but I have a great husband that did most of it so I got to relax. We spent the night up at Fish lake with Lynsey and Dustin, Baca, Micheal and Jessica, my lil bro and Tera. They had rented lil fishing boats so when we got there we got to go fishing, and of course I still had flip flops on so I about lost my toes to frostbite. But I caught a fish and Brett didn't so I was pretty proud. Brett drove the boat while Baca and I fished. For those of you that don't know him, you should because he just amazes me. He only has one arm but yet he can do stuff better than just about anyone. He definitely out fished us all. As we were making our dinner for the night, I heard Tuffy start to kind of whine and a low bark/growl , so I look over to see who or what was there , I see two lil black feet and a lil bit of a white stripe, so instinctively I yell SKUNK... everyone starts like what where, Brett thought I was looking like far away, but NO he was digging in the trash that was tied in front of Micheal and Jessica's trailer. This was like about 8 in the evening , it is still light and we are all out and being loud. So.. the guys start to try to scare it off , throwing a few rocks, Brett keeps saying chase it , as long as it is running it can't spray you. They tried to get it out from under the trailer but the brave little thing didn't want to leave. So Micheal goes and grabs his rifle and tries to get a good shot in but the thing moves, mind you we are all screaming don't shoot it right here, chase it out, so on... Finally we hear BOOM, and then we look down its like moving a little, we all thought maybe he didn't kill it good enough, then the stench began. The little guy's head was blown clear off , but his nerves were working in his tail and he let off a little spray. Needless to say not only did we smell like gross camp fire but also a little bit of skunk. There were skunk guts all over the trailer some flew and hit Dustin in the pants, and some were on their cooler and spray. It was pretty awful and since I can't handle smells I began to throw up what little dinner I had already eaten. It was horrible no one wanted to eat after that little skunk was gone. Sorry If that is too graphic but these are true events. But after that , there really wasn't any more crazy things, just went to bed about froze got up made breakfast and started our long journey back home to teach our primary class. We got home twenty minutes before we had to teach, so we jumped in the shower REALLY fast put some clothes on and headed to church. Our weekend was really quite full of adventure but it was fun definitely something to remember.
