Farewell Tera and Nic

My brother and his girlfriend Tera are going back to Wyoming for school. Its really kinda sad cause he has been around since we found out we were going to have a baby and now he is going to miss me getting bigger and bigger and I wont see him till like october so I will be pretty big by then or at least I think so. They both lived at my parents house this summer worked together and we were all just one big happy family. Tera had only been to Vegas a few times and it was quit a long time ago so, saturday we were trying to decided what to do for her last weekend in St.George, and it wasn't the best weather for a lake trip so we decided that Vegas was a good option. We did a little shopping walked the strip and saw the sites and ate at The pink Taco in the Hard Rock.
On our way out we thought we would watch the treasure island show , it has been like 5 years since I have seen it, well needless to say we walked from the belagio to Treasure Island in twenty minutes which took us like an hour to go the other way to see the show, and guess what they closed it due to high wind conditions. We were all pretty bumed since we walked so fast to see it , then we got stuck in a crowd of people my mom got sandwiched between to big guys and couldn't breathe very well and I was trying to pull her out. It is pretty funny now but I got a little nervous at the time. Well we all had a good time glad we got to spend time together before they go back to school.

Degan Reed

So.. we went and had an Ultrasound done on Saturday when we were up in Salt lake and... we are going to have a BOY!! We are going to name him Degan Reed and we are really excited. Brett was so happy as you all know he just knew we were having a boy. We also went to Lagoon on Friday that was fun lots of walking and sitting for me but it was still fun everyone else had a grand ol time. Here is the only picture that I even took at Lagoon , at least they all look cute in it.
I got to go to lunch with a friend from school its been a year since we have seen each other so it was really nice to catch up. She even got to sit in on the ultrasound so that was neat.

The 4th

Brett and I headed over to Kanab and stayed there all weekend. It was nice to see family and friends..
We went to the parade but this year all our nieces and newphews were in the parade so we didn't have anyone to get candy for us, so thats a bummer but they were all cute and waved..




Then saturday we went to east fork with tyler, and jarrett and took them fishing. It was pretty fun everyone caught some fish, but they were like minnows.. but we all had fun and got to enjoy the great outdoors. Brett got a taste of what its going to be like when we take our kids fishing and your constantly putting on worms and fixing there tangled up lines and he thought I was bad.. it was pretty funny. I helped some but I got sick of that real fast so I made him step in. Charlene even tried to fish but she was almost as bad as the boys, but I got a few pics for proof that she at least tried it.




Then this week has really been hot so I gathered up Whitney and Kenzi and we went swimmin at the Parowan pool on Wed, it was really fun.
Kenz and I had fun swimmin around trying to keep her from drowning. She would do all these things and then say ,"am I going to drown?" and I kept telling her no. .. no.. no.. so finally when I was ready to get out I was making her get into the baby pool and she didnt want to so I said if you dont get out you will drown without me. so she got out and went in the baby pool. she is a real funny girl... oh and I had a real embarrassing moment I probably shouldnt share but its kind of funny too. So I put on a swim suit the butt felt kinda small but since im slowly gettin bigger I just figured it was that. Well we swam and then I got home go to change and realize that my swimsuit had been twisted in the crotch and that was why it felt so small on my butt. So sorry people and children at the parowan pool. I kept my towel and skirt on most of the time so im hoping that not too many people saw but.. yea. I shared apart of me I probably shouldnt have.. ..

Jesse and D

Thanks gals for coming over, it was fun. So I would have to say im so happy that Jesse and D are engaged and planning a wedding in 2009. I am sad for Jason cause I really thought she was going to choose him, but I think him being older and already having a child , just made her realize that she would be fast forwarding 5 years in her life. But I am happy!! I think im the only one.. well besides the love birds.
Thanks again for coming over and hangin out with me, we now need to find a new show to watch.. maybe tomorrow I will post pics of our weekend in Kanab for the fourth.

JESSE!!!

Last night Ang, Lex , Kristie and I got together and watched the Bacholertte it was so fun, you all missed out. So we are sitting there, (we recorded it so we could fast forward thru the commercials so we weren't watching it in real time) Lex gets a text and she's like ah man.. and so we ask what and she says they ruined it for me, I know who she picks.. and I HATE surprises so the whole time im just looking at her trying to figure out by her face which one it was. But lex is a way good actress and I didn't even know. But I have got to say I love love Jesse I have since like show #2 so I definetly want him to and "D" to fall in love and get married but I will have to say that Jason is a really sweet and great guy, when he shaves, so whoever she ends up with will be really lucky. But next week is the finale so lets get together again, we can all come over to my house and watch it snack and enjoy each others company.
